Remember our trip to France last year? No? No problem. My pal and part-time Frenchman Jan will recall it for you again…
Yep, that’s exactly how it went. He came up with an idea, screamed, and off he was to the land where it’s illegal to name a pig Napoleon. You can read the full story about our trip to DC’s Area 43 in Meribel-Mottaret here, by the way.
Besides free lift passes, free booze and all-around awesome times we also did a video about this trip. It’s called ‘The DC Mega 13/14 – The Journey of a Board’, it’s about–guess what–the journey of a DC Mega board, and it only needed a little less than nine months to finish. So, no big deal. We did a trip to DC Snowboarding’s board factory in Austria, produced the bad boy, took it out for a shred or two in France (see above), and now it’s pretty much messed up. And here comes the best part: You, my friend, can win it!
Nah, just kidding. To round this whole project off, we decided to give away a brand new DC Mega Torstein pro-model deck, which you can check out here.
Not bad, eh? The DC Mega is the best homie of Señor Horgmo. It’s got DC Snowboarding’s Lock and Load camber, which is a traditional camber which contact points have been lengthened to create a flat, stable platform. Meaning: you’ll be the boss on rails and have more power up the tail for huge ollies.
Down? All you have to do is to answer the following question:
IN WHICH SKI RESORT IS THE DC ARE 43 LOCATED?
Shoot us an email with your answer to email@example.com. Entry deadline is Tuesday, December 10th.
Now, is that all? Hell no. We’d also say thanks to the Thee Attacks dudes. They were kind enough to allow us to use their track ‘Stab’ for the video above and y’all should check them out.
Anythings else? Yup: www.dcsnowboarding.com
