For the next season, Nitro teamed up with several different artists. For example they have PT Brown who worked together with Eero Ettala, Jon Kooley and that little Norwegian whippersnapper Marcus Kleveland, they got the Swedish hip-hop crew Looptroop on board, Estevan Oriol changed the Team Gullwing into a total doozy for every man who considers himself as an Arseman, and there’s also this sweet Mouse collab for the 2013/2014 Swindle as well as Justin Bennee who teamed up with Dave Doman to make his 152 Swindle Pro-One-Off snazzy. In this article, however, we’re gonna focus ourselves ‘only’ on the Swindles. Eero, Kooley, the Whippersnapper, Looptroop and the bum-board have to wait. Moreover, there’s a video with Dominik Wagner and Benny Urban above and a little below we have two ‘About’ sections which I investigated from our Down With interviews with them. So enjoy the video, read a bit, close the site, read again, re-watch the video or just do whatever the fuck you want to do. We start with Mouse.
THE 2013/2014 NITRO MOUSE SWINDLE
Mouse is a local North County San Diego artist; you maybe know him from his pretty sick stenciled grip that he’s been making for a few years now. Well, you definitely know him if you enjoy spending your time on a skateboard—you can see his work on top of almost every core skateboarders deck (the Mouse Grip tape). The guy has a passion for progression and that’s one of the reasons Nitro wanted to collaborate with him on one of their most progressive raw boards—the Nitro Swindle. Wögna is riding it in the clip above.

THE 2013/2014 JUSTIN BENNEE SWINDLE
Then there’s the Bennee Swindle. I’ve seen this bad boy at this year’s ISPO for the first time and boy this thing is bad. How can you not love board graphics including a cop and a good load of jail house bad boy stuff? There’s even a toothbrush. Justin loved riding his Swindle 152 so much that the Nitro guys though it’d be a clever idea to put out a Swindle with Bennee’s own graphics. Well, indeed, it was. Justin got help from artist Dave Doman and the next thing you know is a board with graphics that are both funny and a nothing but true to Justin’s personality. Benny is riding it in the clip above.
“The idea behind my first Pro One-Off graphic came from the constant battle we face while trying to do our jobs as a pro snowboarder, trying to use wits to outsmart the cops. This board captures what I’m sure most cops fear, a shank. So when you’re riding this board it should fend off trouble from the police, use your skills to swindle them.” – Justin Benee

ABOUT BENNY URBAN
Benny Urban is originally from Hamburg. Personally, I have no idea how one can be that good at snowboarding when he grew up in Hamburg, but since he’s now living in the Bavarian capital Munich I assume he’s going to take over the snowboard world during the next couple years. Besides snowboarding, Benny is a student, goes skating a lot and thinks public farting is absolutely acceptable as it makes people laugh out loud and—of course—there’s nothing wrong about making people laugh out loud. Also, he’s saying strip clubs in Hamburg are—of course—better than strip clubs in Munich. Which is—of course—not a big news, but definitely worth a mention. Pro tip: Pearls at the Reeperbahn. Moreover Benny is seriously thinking a Shrimp sandwich is better than a Weißwurscht-Frühstück, which is—of course—ridiculous, but to each his own. More Benny here.
ABOUT DOMINIK WAGNER
I once wrote about Dominik Wagner that we’re like brothers, which is—of course—not exactly true. At least technically. Dominik Wagner is a professional snowboarder from Neunkirchen, Austria and I’m a socially retarded guy from the outback of Bavaria. I mean, yeah, I’m handsome as fuck, but if you take a look on the facts it’s simply not possible that Dominik and I are brothers. Get used to it. Otherwise Wögna, as he’s commonly known, loves schnitzel, reads interviews with good questions when the interviewee has something to tell, his favourite skater is probably Heath Kirchart, he doesn’t have blond hair anymore, he’s got a girlfriend, he once pranked me when I tried to prank him with a snowboard riding Alfred Einstein, he usually wakes up between 8AM and 9AM, and he personally thinks he’s the worst joke narrator ever — which he—of course—isn’t. That’s Mario Barth, that asshole. More Bärli here.
And last but not least — Benny Urban and God (on a Swindle):
